The Fluke 773-2502 Bottom Case Assembly is the appropriate replacement where the lower case or battery compartment has been damaged, including where the battery contacts or terminals are corroded, broken or no longer making reliable contact.

Battery Contact Replacement

The battery contacts/terminals for the Fluke 772 and 773 are not supplied by Fluke as individually replaceable spare parts. Where replacement of the battery terminals is required, the complete 773-2502 Bottom Case Assembly must be replaced.

This makes the assembly suitable for repairing instruments affected by battery leakage or corrosion where the battery compartment contacts have been damaged.
